Weekly Zoom Meetings:
- Preproduction: Learn how to shape your ideas with treatment development, storyboarding, and script writing.
- Production: Dive into the essentials of lighting, camera angles and movement, framing, mise en scène, and sound design to bring your story to life.
- Post Production: Explore editing techniques, including Walter Murch’s celebrated “Rule of Six,” and discover how great films are made in the edit.
- Film Theories: Unlock deeper meaning by studying foundational film theories like the Kuleshov Effect, Kino-Eye, Laura Mulvey’s Male Gaze, Jill Soloway’s Female Gaze, and Objectification Theory.
- Film Directors: Analyze the work of influential directors to see how theory meets practice.
Each week features two meetings: the first covers the core topic, while the second is an open Q&A session—your chance to get personalized feedback, troubleshoot your projects, or dig deeper into any aspect of filmmaking.
